1. United we stand to gain..
Much more than then the times when pain
over rides the brain

2. And pushes us to make bad executive decisions
Wedge issues winning.... incisions to the bone but

3. Never no more its time to hone in
on what's going on expose the wrong start the shiftn'

4. We fell for the okie doke bate and switchin'
Having us voting against our own best interest

5. Without knowing we support the plutocracy
By not being involved in what's left of our democracy

6. Being a defeatist is as bad as an elitist
If you are not participating then you are co signing

7. Dig deep and chime in wake up face the nation
If not abandon ship start the repatriation

8. But if you plan to stay then put your 2 cents in
Or succumb to the outcome indentured servants









Verse 2

1. I'm sick and tired of folks complaining.
Monday quarterbackin', Back seat driving

2. There's nuff problems so get in the mix
Soul search Find your passion and pick one to fix

3. Its not all for not its been worse than this
Reverse the hypnosis and head back to the future

4. I'm not saying become a full time activist
But just be aware of the current events

5. Beyond just the headlines read a lil' too
And not just be fed what corporate media approves

6. When I travel overseas its bittersweet
I see an engaged population in their current affairs

7. Then I think back home on the streets
And how most have no clue and don't really care

8. Being uninformed is like being unaware
Ill equipped unprepared for what's happening out there







Verse 3

1. I know its excruciating to sift through the bullish
To find the statements out all the politicians but

2. If ya don't then we take what's given
Corporate lobbyists posing as congressmen

3. Follow the money due diligence do work
Educate ourselves on the process preserve

4. Rights to engage, be heard and show!
Cause if a Ceo runs the country ya can't vote

5. Pause on the "f.ck the government" rhetoric
Cause without the government the multinationals are lovin' it

6. Running it, total plutocratic dictatorship
We will have no say, no way to protest shit

7. No unions, no platform no strength in power
Paralyzed watching everything get privatized

8. Open them eyes realize we can change it
Its time to face the nation like a true patriot
